Kazuhiro Furuhashi was the Hunter X Hunter TV director who relied on Hunter X Hunter by Togashi Yoshihiro. Kazuhiro Furuhashi who had filmed Rurouni Kenshin TV, Samurai X: Reflection OAV and Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal OAV was invited director of Hunter X Hunter. Toshihiko Sahashi composed music for Hunter X Hunter TV. 62 series were released all in all, each lasting for 23 minutes. Like the manga, the anime is filmed as a action.
